La Iliada.

               

                    In this time i would like to speak about my favourite book, is a very old one,  the most ancient of the poems writtens in greece and in all the occidental world , i talk about “la iliada” a epic poem written bi “Homero” about tha war between the greeks and trojans that took place in the middle of the fifth century B.C.

                Obviously the most widespread image about the poem is the movie call “troy” of the year two thousand four, which i personally consider a very bad movie because it distort the true history in a poor adptation that kill main characters, omit important events and remove the mistic of the poem.

                Really the text tell the way in that “Agamenon” used a pretext to conquer troy invading it after two years of preparations. The pretext its the women of “Menelao” brother of “Agamenon”, “helena” and her infedelity with “Paris” son of the King of troy, they went away to troy and wait hidden in the city of “Priamo”. In this context “Aquiles”, son of “Zeus“ and “Tetis” achieve the glory  killing to “hector” the most famous trojan warrior after this one murder to the main squire of “Aquiles” called “Patroclo”.

                Among all the héroes that appear in the poem i have mi favourites. First “Ayax the great” the second one in strenght after “Aquiles”, he hace a very important rol in the history due to his martials abilities. Other carácter that is very cool (maybe the most) is “Diomedes” son of “tideo” known by hurts a pair of gods in battle.

bodybuilding (free post)

          

          If there is a topic that call my attention this it would be the bodybuilding. Known as a  discipline that only help to the estetic the certain this is that is much more that it, improve the strength, speed and tenacity of the entire body meanwhile keep your mind Sharp and clear.

So is not only lift a heavy weigth, also you need advanced knowledges in anatomy and “biomecánica” and obviosly the needed in the exercise teory to make correctly yours routine and reach you objective.   

In my personal case it helped to cure a scoliosis that i develop in my puberty, and actualy it help to maintain a healthy body also to keep mi metabolic rate very high, due to this I feel less cold and get cold less. I start old in the bodibuilding, only a four years but i have advance a lot until i start. I learned too much in this year Reading how to perferm of a good way the exercises and practising them in the gym. Of course that i have my favourite ones among all the execises these are;

The squat: crouch down is a very complete move, involve a seventen percent of the musculature of the entire body ( excluding the upper part of the body; chest, arms and shoulder) specially the legs that suffer in the execution of the movement. iF you do well, with appropiate technique you can see how much forcé have yours legs. I have come to lift around to one hundred fifteen kilograms.

Fourteen five angle leg press: similar body movement function that the squat (crouch down) but in a sitting machine, allow to you to lift to much heavy weigth tan the squat, i reach in my best days the two hundred twenty kilograms.

So like the greek, i am a convinced man, “healty mind in a healthy body”

Among all the holydays that i have had there are a lot of good experiences, although if i must decide for one, i will chose my congress of geography in Valdivia city.

                I went in the last year, i know, sounds strange but after the academic activities we have all the rest of the day to us.

                We are a few classmate, among this group some of my best friends in the career, we stayed in the house of one of our classmate, she calls Maria de los Angeles Gacitua.

                we stayed near to one week in the home of our friend “Angie”, and in this time we could know almost all the beutiful things the city.

                The first thing that i do in the morning was go to the academic activities in the “Austral” university, after, like group we doing a lot of activities, the zone is known due to his beer, so we knew a few local bars, other day we knew the landscape, place like “Fuerte Niebla” or “Jardin Botanico”. Even now i remember this places how the first time that i saw it.

                I enjoy this holyday because, we have all the things that we want, good company, great landscapes and weather, and of course good beer. 

Latin Stereotypes

                

                 If i think about stereotypes presents in latin america obviously there is a few that are the most characteristcs of all. The firts is the argentinean, they are arrogant and self-confident about his atributtes, other stereotype very known is the brazilean, they are very good dancers and always to be happy, and emerge trough his face in his smile. The mexician are maybe the most famous latin american stereotype, these are a enthusiast people that have a loud voice and a very particular accent.

                I think that the estereotyes are defined by a lot of factors that have influence in the the people. Social,  geographic, historical, familiar amorg others are only a few of the aspect that defined the people stereotype.

                Theres are countries that have enmity againts Chile like Peru, Bolivia and sometimes Argentina, but, there are countries that have a very good relationships with chile like Mexico, Ecuador or Brazil. The conclusion is: depends of the country the people of latin america will have a different percepcion of of the chileans, however this image emerge of politicals measures or acctions and not of the truly relation between the people of different comtries.

                Among the diverses stereotypes presents in chile we can find a lot of tipical expresions defined by socio-culturals and economic variables. Exist the “flaytes” , young people with bad habbits, and in the other end of scale there is the “cuicos” some like the “richs boys”

Favourite beach

               

                When i was a children i knew almost all the beachs  along the “Litoral Central” coast. I knew, Algarrobo, Mirasol, Cartagena, El Quisco, El Canelillo among others, but, if i must select my favourite one, it will be “El Tabo” beach .

                Located in the municipality of the same name, in  “San Antonio” province of the “V region of Valparaiso”. Its known due to its many beach that allows you to swim, and have a very good afternoon after the lunch with yourse friends.

                I go every year to this beach, because my grandmother have a home at this place. I have my own friends there.

                When i go to “el tabo” in the winter is for have a calm moment with my family or my girlfrien in the peaceful house of my grandmother. When i go in the summer the things are very diferent, first, i usually do with my frinds of “Santiago” and my girlfriend, and we go to a little beach of “Las Agatas” at the left of the well-known beach of “Isla Negra”. Some time we make trips to “Las Cruces” gully. And int he night, we party too.

                I went to “el tabo” beach in this year, with my sister and some friends to the house of my grandmother.

                I like this beach because i know it since i was a child, i know almost all the landscape of this place, and i know too many good people. Also i know how to find a semi-precious stone called agatas.

Dopesmoker ( the first cd you bought )

It was the 2000 years and i begin to listen more psychedelic music that suits my mood, a take a lot of bands between old psychedelic rock as Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple, metal or crossover bands, like Faith no More or witchfinder general, but i have a very favourite band that make my decided to bought almost one of they albums. this are a very strange one and i has search it through every the specialiced rocks or metal shop around Santiago.
 the cd was by a band from San Jorge, California called Sleep, they play a music stile called "Stoner Metal" which is oriented to the person that use some kind of "chemical substance" with the goal of reach a determite mind state.

 i bought it a tuesday of a cold june of the 2002, strangely i do not find it in any establish shop, i find it in street market in the corner of my home when i look for other things.

 i like it because is a band that generate a very special atmosferic environment plenish of slow and heavy rhityms, in Dopesmoker, sleep only plays one songs which hace one hour long that related the tale of the messiah of the "weedeaters", in a euphemism that defend the rigth of the person that decided use something that the most of people think thats is bad

  obviously the song that most like to me is dopesmoker, the only track of the CD. sometimes, when i training at the gym, and y need some extra peace y listen this great song.

 an unkown great band, you must listen it. up the stoners.

traveling for coast range of temuco

my (P)My best trip was the trip from the coast tirua (wo) Tirua coast to coast mehuin (wo) Mehuin coast. Thi (sp) this trip was amanzing (sp) amazing (sm) because i did a finger (we) I hitch-hiked. i take one month (sm) to complete the journey, between woodland (ws) woodlands  the (ww) of  wihues (ww) without traduction, notros (ww) without traduction, temu (ww) without traduction and ugly (wf) uglies pino (wf) pines and eucalyptus.

I did the trip in two stages  (p) , from (nn)  the first (p) ,  only, (nn)  to Curanilahue to (sm) the  port dominguez (p) Dominguez and the second (P) ,  with a friend from port dominguez (p) Dominguez to tirua (p) Tirua and more places. (sm) the best of the trip was to (nn) share my time with the fate and the will of the driver, placing us at the road.
